After so much testing I finally chose the perfect 80 lb uncoated paper with crafting in mind. The book was bound for easy tear-out, so you can pull out a page, cut it up, layer it, fold it, glue it down, or save the rest for later. No preciousness required.

Darling, always remember crafting is supposed to be fun, it’s not that serious!

There are no rules about making the “perfect” journal spread. No need to overthink it. Tear something out. Put it somewhere unexpected. Layer patterns that probably shouldn't work together. Add stickers. Scribble on it. Cover half of it up. Make a mess.
